A Gift for the Ages, Part II

When my son Zack was born, I bought him a ‘time capsule gift’ of sorts. It was a bottle of whisky to be opened on his 21st birthday, accompanied by a letter from me.

I have now done the same for my daughter, Robyn.

This time I opted for a 12-year old bottle of rum.

I’ve also written her a letter to accompany the gift. It is my fond hope that I will one day see my children open these gifts. But life can never be predicted… a lesson I’ve been frequently reminded of during the last year or so.

What adventures await over the next 21 years? Hopefully one day, we’ll look back and raise a glass to all those years.

Cheers, folks!
